So, you’ve got the Joule, the 500, Garmin’s 705, the, uh, ‘other’ power meter, and of course, SRM and Power-tap proprietary heads. We MIGHT, just MIGHT see Ergomo head units resurrected in some form late this year or early next year, but for now, I intend to keep my 705 until I can purchase a Joule. The 2.0 looks awesome, and it has on-screen TSS, IF, and PNorm. Now, if someone could just get me PNorm for an interval or lap, I’d be ecstatic. Just one of my idiosyncracies.

How do you fit them all on your bike? I fitted an Aerobar today (my first one) to help with the indoor training and now I’ve no room left for my CT controller.
I placed it in the hood but I am concerned though that I may knock off it with my knee if I stand up?

Roy – good question. I’ve just seen their faces, but I believe the Garmin uses a twist and snap, while the Joule must use something similar to the mount they built for their original black-or-yellow head unit several years ago. I’ll definitely keep looking for photos on the internet, and will post them as they become available. The 705 mount, while I’ve never had this problem, apparently can eject the 705 out into the road when bumped the wrong way. Riders have been known to use ZIP ties wrapped around the stem to keep them on the bike.
