Outside giving a tour when the front comes through

Yesterday was a great day for cycling education in Dallas. I escorted a group of 8 local leaders around the JCC campus, starting with lunch at Cindi’s, then heading outdoors (right when the front moved through, BRRR!), and ending indoors with a tour of the facility. The place is Non-prof, it’s empty on Sunday afternoons, it’s lit in the evenings, we can stripe the parking lot any way we want, and there’s room for lectures, discussions, break-down do-woppies, and even some storage. Everyon seemed to agree that it was a great location and opportunity, so we’re going to go for it and set it up and put kids and adults through the program. I just hope I can get some politicians to pay attention.
